What does a webinar consultant actually do?

It's a fair question. Here's exactly what the work looks like, from the first conversation to a webinar program that books appointments week after week.

"Webinar consultant" sounds like someone who shows up, hands you a list of best practices, and disappears. That's not this.

Here's the full process, and what you can expect in the first 90 days of working together.

The process, start to finish

  1. 01

Understand your goals before touching anything else.

Before I review a single slide or watch a single recording, we get clear on what this webinar program needs to do. Most Bitcoin and finance companies run webinars for one of three reasons: building thought leadership, growing their list, or generating direct leads.

Each one needs a different structure, a different offer, and a different definition of success. We agree on that first.

  2. 02

Watch a sample of your existing webinars.

If you've run webinars before, I watch them. Not to judge the presenter, but to see what's working, where the audience drifts, and where the conversion breaks down.

Most problems show up in the first 20 minutes. This step alone usually surfaces two or three things nobody on your team has noticed, because they're too close to it.

  3. 03

Meet your sales and product team.

For lead generation webinars, I meet with whoever owns sales or product marketing. I need to know how you position your product, which objections you hear most, and what a qualified prospect actually looks like.

A webinar that doesn't reflect your expertise creates confused leads, not booked appointments.

  4. 04

Gather everything and build the structure.

Existing decks, past recordings, product docs, meeting notes. I pull together what you already have and build the outline: an opening that earns attention, content that builds toward the offer, objection handling before the ask, and a call to action that actually compels people to act.

Nothing gets created in a vacuum. We build it with you, so it sounds like your brand.

  5. 05

    Refine with your team.

We work through the outline together. Your team knows your audience and product better than anyone, and this step makes sure the structure reflects that. We tighten the flow, pressure-test the offer, and make sure every section has a job to do.

  6. 06

    Prepare your presenters.

A well-structured webinar delivered badly still won't convert. I run a short, practical training on delivery. Not how to be a speaker, but how to run a conversion webinar.

Depending on your presenter's comfort level, we either go through the slides together or they record a practice run for me to review. The goal is confidence and clarity, not perfection.

  7. 07

    Handle the logistics.

Schedule the webinar. Set up registration. Write the promo email and the follow-up sequence, including the recording email. Build the run of show so everyone on your team knows exactly what happens and when.

  8. 08

    Run the webinar with you.

For your first webinars especially, I'm in the room: behind the scenes, watching the chat, flagging questions worth answering, and tracking engagement in real time. You're not doing this alone the first time.

  9. 09

    Debrief, refine, repeat.

After the webinar, we debrief: what worked, what didn't, what changes before the next one. Then we run it again. Most programs find their conversion rhythm by the second or third webinar.

Once results are consistent, we look at what's next: a second webinar type, a new audience segment, a different offer. I'll also show you how to repurpose and refresh your webinars without starting from scratch.

Most problems show up in the first 20 minutes. Most companies have never had anyone watch with fresh eyes.

Common questions

Do you write the slides too?

I build the outline and structure: the story arc, the flow, the offer. Depending on the engagement, I either write the slide content myself or work with your team to turn the outline into the deck. Either way, nothing goes in the presentation without a reason to be there.

What if we've never run a webinar?

That's fine. Building from scratch is sometimes cleaner than fixing something broken. We start at step one, get clear on goals, learn your audience, and design the right structure. Same process, minus the audit.

How long does an engagement take?

The first webinar takes 60 to 90 days from kickoff to live: strategy, build, prep, and delivery. After that, most clients move to a monthly retainer where I manage the program, refine each webinar based on results, and add new webinar types as it grows.

Do you work outside the Bitcoin space?

Yes. The core of the work is the same in any industry: goals, structure, conversion. Most of my clients are Bitcoin, finance, and related companies. If your audience is making decisions about money, capital, or investing, I know that world.

What does this cost?

It depends on what your program needs. A one-time audit and rebuild looks different from an ongoing retainer. The fastest way to a number is a quick call about where you are and what you want to build.

I'm not here to throw a party.
I'm here to grow your business.

Thirty minutes. You tell me what's working and what isn't. I'll tell you what I'd fix first. No deck, no hard sell.
